tonimorrisonAlumni who still live within driving distance of NC State can take a quick dip back into intellectual pursuits this week when Sheila Smith McKoy, director of NC State’s African American Cultural Center, leads a discussion of Toni Morrison’s new novel, Home.

The discussion, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cameron Village Regional Library.

The event is part of Read Smart, a discussion series of popular books moderated by NC State professors. McKoy is also an associate professor of English and director of NC State’s Africana Studies program.
