That’s how many job seekers showed up last October for the College of Engineering’s biannual Career Fair. It was a record for the event.

rww_81421Another big crowd is expected when the Career Fair returns next week. More than 265 companies and government agencies are scheduled to attend the Engineering Career Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 4, and Wednesday, Oct. 5. The fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the McKimmon Center.

The event is free for job seekers.

The NC State career fair is one of the largest in the nation for engineering students. Previous career fairs have drawn job seekers from states as far away as Florida, New York and Texas.

The Cree team will be there in full effect! Recruiters, Managers, Demos and Give-aways. We are looking for the brightest (no pun intended) Materials, Chemical, and Electrical Engineers that State has to offer. See you Oct 5th!
