White House honors Park Scholar as Champion of Change

ferris-imageBrian Ferris ’03 has been recognized by the White House for his work with open-source software and public transportation systems.

Ferris, a Park Scholar who majored in computer engineering and computer science at NC State, was named a Champion of Change by the White House. Ferris was recognized in the technology and innovation area for his work with the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Portland to develop a multi-modal trip planner.
