A large group of NC State alumni and friends gathered at Yadkin Valley Seafood in Yadkinville last night to welcome a group of high school seniors into the Wolfpack family.
It was the latest in a series of Senior Send-Offs hosted by the Alumni Association to help incoming NC State freshmen make the transition from high school to college.
Zack Ladd ’58, an alumni network leader for the area, said it was the largest – and best – Senior Send-Off ever held in Yadkin County. About 50 people, including 11 incoming freshmen, heard presentations from the staff of the Alumni Association and Joyce Mai, an assistant director in the NC State admissions office.
The Alumni Association will host Senior Send-Offs next week in Wake and Alamance counties. Check our website for details on the Senior Send-Off in your community.
