Jacksons honored with Bowers Medal of Arts Award

Jerry and Nina Jackson are the recipients of the 2011 Bowers Medal of Arts Award from ARTS NC State for their cultivation and support of the arts at NC State.

Jerry Jackson ’64 was a founding member of the Board of Advisors for Friends of ARTS NC State in 2000. He chaired the board from 2006-08. Jackson now serves on the NC State University Foundation Board and on the executive committee for the Gregg Museum Campaign.

Jerry and Nina Jackson also supported the Thompson Hall renovation with a gift and the naming of the Jerome Jackson-Maurice Thiem Hall in honor of their grandparents.
