NC State professor to discuss causes of Civil War

Susanna Lee, an assistant professor of history at NC State, is speaking Wednesday about the causes of the American Civil War.

The event is the final installment in the Fabulous Faculty series hosted by N.C. State Libraries. Lee is scheduled to speak at 4 p.m. in the Assembly Room on the second floor of the East Wing of D.H. Hill Library.

The event is free and open to the public.

Lee teaches classes on the Civil War and Reconstruction, and is working on two book manuscripts dealing with the Civil War. She is on the Academic Advisory Panel for the N.C. Civil War Sesquicentennial committee.
