The weather should be wonderful for a winter garden walk on Sunday at the JC Raulston Arboretum.

The Arboretum is celebrating the winter season with a Friends of the Arboretum Lecture at 1 p.m. The lecture -“A Walk in the Winter Wonderland with Wildlife in Tow” – will be presented by Helen Yoest of Gardening with Confidence.

The lecture will be followed by tours at 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.  The tour will highlight plants at their peak during the winter months, including Japanese flowering apricots, witchhazels, hellebores, conifers, hollies, winter honeysuckles and camellias.
