In the winter issue of NC State magazine, we celebrate the 100th season of NC State men’s basketball with dozens of archival photos, an essay by former News & Observer reporter A.J. Carr and a quiz. We’ve also dug up old alumni magazine articles on Everett Case, David Thompson ’75, Norm Sloan ’51, Les Robinson ’65, Sidney Lowe ’83, Terry Gannon ’85 and the 1974 national championship team.

And don’t forget to check out our multimedia presentation on the 1983 national championship run, where you can see photographs from the ACC and NCAA tournaments, read quotes from Coach Jim Valvano and listen to Wally Ausley call the last minute of the game against Houston.
