High School Students Drop Silly Putty from D.H. Hill

What happens when you drop a 50-pound ball of Silly Putty from the top of D.H. Hill Library? Roger Russell, a resource coordinator in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, explains in the video above. The experiment was part of the department’s annual materials summer camp for high school students.
