russell-wilsonNC State alumni and fans in the Charlotte area can see two-sport star Russell Wilson in action on the baseball diamond this summer. The ACC’s 2008 Freshman of the Year and the first freshman quarterback in conference history to be named first team All-ACC will play this summer for the Gastonia Grizzlies of the Coastal Plain League. Wilson, who was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles after his senior year of high school, played second base for the Wolfpack this spring.
