Our Wolf Treks travelers who visited Egypt in late March and early April gave the trip excellent reviews. The group adored their tour guide, Tarek Morsey. “He was amazing, both in his knowledge of the antiquities and his people skills,” wrote one traveler in her post-trip survey. Another traveler called him a “walking encyclopedia.” An experienced and knowledgeable tour guide can take  a trip from good to excellent, and Tarek went the extra mile in helping our travelers get the most out of this trip. The Wolf Treks travelers explored Cairo, visited the Valley of the Kings, cruised Lake Nasser and the Nile and ended the trip by the sea in Alexandria. The 15-day trip, arranged by tour operator Odysseys Unlimited, included camel rides in the desert and a leisurely felucca ride on the Nile.

Wolf Treks is the official travel program of the NC State Alumni Association. We’ll offer this trip again March 26 to April 11. To receive our Wolf Treks mailings, contact alumni_travel@ncsu.edu or view our list of Wolf Treks trips at our Web site.

Egypt is amazing, the only trouble we had was when we had a camel ride into the desert, and the kid threatened to leave us there unless we paid him!

    Hello,

I totally agree with you that Egypt is amazing and that you shouldn’t have seen being alone in the pyramids’ desert a big trouble. It’s totally secured. Egypt is not only the pyramids by the way. The Colorful Wildlife of Egypt is magnificent also “)

  3. Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Thanks!
