Cool news for Wolfpack fans. GoPack.com’s Tim Peeler ’87 is spending the spring and summer going through the basement of Reynolds Coliseum—filled with thousands of uncataloged photos, trophies, news clippings, film and paperwork related to NC State’s athletics history. Among the finds he’s reported so far on GoPack.com’s WolfBlog:

  • film of former NC State basketball coach Everett Case coaching a high school team in the 1937 Indiana basketball playoffs;
  • three never-claimed rings for the ACC football championship that NC State won in 1979; and
  • former Pittsburgh Steeler head coach Bill Cowher’s long-lost personnel file, which contains all the photos and clippings from his days playing football at NC State.

What will Tim uncover next? Follow him on Twitter, and keep checking back in with us. We’ll highlight discoveries.
