Kristin PriceKristin Price ’04, ’08 MS won the Dick’s Sporting Goods City of Pittsburgh Marathon last weekend with a time of 2:36.33, a personal best. Price, now a food scientist at the USDA’s labs on Centennial Campus, won the national championship in the 10,000-meters in 2002 and helped lead the Wolfpack women’s cross country team to a national runner-up finish in 2001. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review caught up with her before the race, and she talked with Runner’s World afterward about the race, what she’s doing now and whether Raleigh is a good place to train.
